Tyler Bohlke, DC

Tyler Bohlke DC completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Cleveland University of Kansas City in 2020 and a Bachelor’s of Arts in All-Science Education at University of Northern Iowa in 2014. Tyler has worked as a chiropractor in the Kansas City area since 2020. Before his chiropractic career, Tyler worked as a high school science teacher and coached football. He enjoys CrossFit, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Tyler’s focus is to encourage and inspire patients to reach their wellness and lifestyle goals. He also aims to promote and generate a shift from symptom based care to wellness and preventative care.

Cynthia Johnson, M.S. P.T., MCMT, Owner/Director

Cindy Johnson, Owner, MSPT completed her pre-physical therapy studies at the University of Florida and received her medical degree in physical therapy at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1988. She later received her master’s degree in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology from the University of Kansas in 1996 with a research focus on the spine. In addition, she completed a 2-year certification process in manual therapy in 2008. She has a special interest in orthopedics, manual therapy, and women’s health. Currently, Cindy is in the process of publishing a book on shoulder pain and how to navigate the healthcare maze. The book will be published in the coming months.

Cindy is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and currently serves on several not-for-profit boards. Cindy and her husband Chris have 4 children. Her hobbies include travel, hiking, camping, running, and numerous kids activities.

James Quinn, DPT, Clinic Director

James Quinn, DPT, completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Kansas before receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Wichita State University. James has always been fascinated by movement and physical activity. He chose a career in physical therapy so he could use his knowledge of movement to help keep people active and to help them reach their full health potential. James commits to his own health by jogging and making healthy eating choices. As a Lawrence native, James loves the KC Chiefs and KU basketball. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, walking his dog, playing with his toddler, and completing home renovation projects.

Mark Hurley, PTA

Mark Hurley, PTA, completed his B.S. in Biology at the University of Saint Mary and received his Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Washburn University. Mark loves to help anyone experiencing pain or dysfunction, and he is especially passionate about geriatric rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and recovery from acute medical conditions. Mark became interested in physical therapy after receiving PT himself. As a collegiate student athlete, his therapists helped him recover from a hand injury and inspired him to help others achieve their own health goals.

As a Navy veteran and a father of two, Mark doesn’t have to try hard to stay active! Mark is a volunteer youth sports coach and enjoys weightlifting, walking his dog, jogging, and meditation. In his free time, he also enjoys traveling, learning languages, and watching historical documentaries.

Rachel Barron, PTA

Rachel Barron, PTA is originally from Ponca City, Oklahoma, but she is a full-blooded Jayhawk. Rachel originally became passionate about physical therapy because she knew that as a PTA, she could help people come back stronger after surgery or injury. To pursue this passion, she graduated with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Washburn University. She enjoys helping all of her patients but especially enjoys rehabilitating athletes. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys playing sports and watching Marvel movies.
